Open mIRC. Click File and then Select Server.

Enter your Nick, Name, and Email Address (Alternate nick is optional)
Choose GeedShed as the server.

On the left, click on options. Enter the port number 6697 and click the button that says "Perform"

Checkmark enable perform on connect. Click add and select GeekShed for Network.
Enter: /msg NickServ IDENTIFY MyPassword
Replacing "MyPassword" with the password your registered with. Then click OK and OK again. You are now ready to connect.
